The Artist Association ( BBK) Schleswig-Holstein is part of a National Artist Association dedicated to representing the rights and needs of artists working and living in the State.
Locally, the Association is headed by a Board of Directors which is elected by its members.

Addmittence may be obtained from the Board of Directors after submitting a written request (form). To be a member you must be a resident of the State, display on-going work as a professional artist and not be a member of the BBK in any other State. You must also fullfill the folowing requirments:
- 1. A Collage or University degree in Art .
- and
- 2.
A portfolio with recent works
- or
- 3.
proof of participation in various nationally juried exhibitions or participation in the annual Landesschau Schleswig-Holstein at least two times.
- and
- 4. Proof of recidency in Schleswig-Holstein.
