Our house in the Brunswiker Street serves as a gallery and office space for the Local State Chapter of the National Artist Association.

The association represents all artists regardless of mediums. As an association, we work with other cultural institutions both at home and abroad. We are open to all persons interested in culture and its promotion with a main focus on the fine arts. Our exhibition schedule includes changing group shows of our members and other international guest, in and out of house. We offer guided tours of all exhibits as well as accompanying events. The students of the State University 's art program enjoy the possibility of presenting their exam exhibition in our space.

Other programs we offer, from theatre presentations, readings, performance and informative seminars to local events such as the Museum Night, serve to widen our program.

Besides changing exhibitions we also have the art shop KIEL-KAUF-KUNST in the top floor of our gallery. We carry a wide range of small works from our members including prints, paintings, works on paper, multiples, 3-d objects, videos, art books and catalogues.

The one rule for our shop? No works over €200! This makes the time between exhibitions also interesting for the public to visit us.
